- 16" x 16" x 1" cradled panels set inside basswood frames
- Frames have a 1/2" profile (face of frame), 1/4" reveal (gap between panel and frame), and 1 3/4" depth (depth of frame).

The panel is set back a 1/4" from the face of the frame to accommodate multiple layers (i.e. encaustic, mixed media, etc.) and also for protection of your finished art for future transport.
- Frames are easily detached from the panel by removing the included screws from the back of the frame.
- Frames are sanded to a smooth finish and are ready for any application of your choice (i.e. clear, wax, stain, paint, etc.)
- Total size including the frame is 17 1/2" x 17 1/2" x 1 3/4"

I recently had a deadline to submit a miniature painting for a show, so I reached for a 12x16 Basswood Framed panel from my inventory. This was the first time I worked with these panels and I was very pleased with the quality. I typically work in oils and I found that the finish of the cradled birch panel was smooth and easy to work with. The pre-attached unfinished frames are an added asset as it's included with the panel, creating the ease of submitting the piece without having to search for a frame, especially when you're working with a deadline. I wanted a clean, modern finish so I only had to add varnish. All in all, I was very happy with the quality of these panels and will continue adding them to my inventory.
I love these framed panels from Bara! Expertly crafted panels and frames. I love that I can easily take them apart, work on my paintings and then decide how I want to finish each frame. Although they are so beautiful I usually leave them natural., which goes well with my work. But there are options! I don’t have to think about how they will be “finished” for exhibition with these framed panels. Love them!
